Healthy Tip Tuesday - this week's tip is to focus on eating healthier, not less! So many "diets" focus on calorie restriction rather than the energy in vs. energy out or addressing where those calories are coming from. If you are an active person a calorie restrictive diet is not ideal and can do more harm than good, but if you are working on losing weight by dialing in your diet while introducing exercise then you may want to cut back slowly by reducing your intakes of processed foods and those "empty calories," replacing them with whole foods that your body can use as fuel! When you understand the important role food plays in your health and wellness you pave the way toward a healthier relationship with the role it plays in your life :)
