Brewed 5.5 gallons of my almost famous Apple Pie Mead today. With a starting gravity of 1.140 this will be a STRONG mead. Unfermented it tasted like apple pie dipped in honey. Can't to try it in a few months. To make it even better, I was able to teach my youngest son (he's 18) how to make mead. Maybe one day all 3 of my kids will be brewers.
