Jennifer, who checked me out, was absolutely sweet. Gave me tips on cleaning reusable water bottles -- so helpful!! I had had that question and she read my mind. The checkout line is absolutely packed, and their system is confusing. Colors, numbers... all just to buy stuff. Selection is decent to mediocre. They only had three combs and all were pretentious! Also limited in the hair styling department (few waxes and pomades). So options are limited for men. Their home brand products are generally cruelty-free and relatively affordable! $10 for a big bottle of shampoo or body wash. Location is superb. Right next to Columbus Circle A/B/C/D.

Everything in this store is so disorganized and inefficient, prices are often vague or not there at all, and the lines will be extending to the sushi bar but registers will closed. It doesn't make sense, but it sure makes the experience unpleasant.

Best time to visit is when they first open up. Breakfast is good and lines aren't that long.

The place is nice, clean and convenient. You can buy amazing quality groceries and fresh organic produce. On the downside its expensive with very limited brands (Mostly organic) and the long queues that form at the exit counter make me a little wild. I prefer shopping late at night around 10 as there is no rush at that time of the day.

What an awesome store. The Whole Foods at Columbus Circle does more than just sell groceries, they have a HUGE concourse dedicated to selling food either behind counters or buffet style. It's a really great place to grab some lunch and eat at Central Park as most people tend to do.

I'm a huge fan of whole foods but this location is disgusting. I witnessed a drunk, semi-homeless looking guy, very carefully bend down and smell the soup spoon at the hot bar. I thought that's strange he's awfully close. Then, with delight in his eyes, he scooped some soup into the ladle and ate it like a thirsty camel. He did this twice! I quickly notified vil or will, his nametag was smudged, who shrugged his shoulders and carried on placing more salad into the salad bar. I couldn't believe my eyes. My wife stopped a few people from eating the soup but it was hopeless, we left in horror. I understand people we be gross but for the staff to care so little this must be common occurrence. I advice never eat from the hot bar!

One of the busier Whole Foods stores on the UWS since it's located at a major subway stop. Despite being very busy, it's well organized, which makes getting in and out easy. It has a large seating area, which is nice when you need to grab a quick meal or a short rest.
