Fan of word problems, math and physics? Give this one a try: US aircrafts are used to airdrop humanitarian packages as a part of our relief efforts. Calculate how far ahead of the drop zone a pilot would need to drop humanitarian aid packages if the delivery occurred at a speed of 263 m/s and an altitude of 3048 m to avoid dropping the packages in the mountains. Assume the packages were released from their containers immediately and neglect air resistance.
