It's okay. I didn't think it was anything to write home about, but I didn't have a bad experience. My entree was mediocre, but the appetizer was good and the side salad was great.

I lived in these apartments my first year in Athens. The apartment was very nice and well maintained and Geoff, the landlord, was phenomenal - very kind, flexible, helpful, and clearly dedicated to maintaining the property. The only downside was that I am not a college student and almost everyone else in the building is. The neighbors were loud and inconsiderate, but I think that's to be expected at any rental in the student rentals area of Athens. Overall a positive experience and I can't really blame the landlord for the noisy other tenants.

I can't write enough positive things about Don and Sally Linder! As a first-time home buyer, I wasn't sure what to expect. I anticipated a pushy salesperson who would try to get me to "close the deal," but Don and Sally were the complete opposite of that! They were extremely patient, took plenty of time to answer all of my questions, and at no point did I feel pressured to make a decision. I was new to the Athens area, so Don spent about 2 hours with me on a Saturday driving me around the area and pointing out some of the different neighborhoods and typical home values in the area. I looked at many homes before I finally found one that fit my needs, but they had no problem showing them all to me. Once I was ready to make an offer, I really felt like Don and Sally had my back the entire time. Sally spent about an hour and a half with me going over comparable sales, other listings, and so forth to ensure I had all the information to make a competitive offer. Throughout the entire process, Don and Sally continued to prove just how much they know about the Athens-area real estate market. I actually think that Don's knowledge of real estate in the area is reality television worthy. He's like an encyclopedia of property in Athens. As we walked up to a house he was showing me, he said "If I remember right, I was in this house about 10 years ago and there were some foundation issues so we'll want to be sure and see if they've been corrected." For the record, he was remembering right. Sally put me in touch with all the other professionals I needed to talk with - she recommended a couple of home inspectors, she recommended a specific bank to get a better interest rate than my original pre-approval, and so forth. Finally, I want to give Don and Sally kudos for their responsiveness. Sally and I were frequently in contact via phone calls, text messages, and emails and I constantly felt like I knew what was going on in the process because of her updates. They were easy to get a hold of no matter the time of day - during business hours, after business hours, over the weekend, and even once on a holiday. All in all, I can't recommend Don and Sally Linder enough. They are the definition of the consummate real estate professional and I consider myself fortunate to have had them on my side during what would have otherwise been an intimidating and confusing process.
