Speaking of non-car things, hung out in Nairobi, Kenya for a few months. (Why? Just because...) Giraffes 20 minutes from my door. Fact: you will not beat a giraffe at a staring contest. And boy did I try. Who knew.

"There's peanut butter in the 'fridge," my friend says. Took me a good 7 minutes to find it, after doing that thing where you mentally identify every object to make sure you're not missing the one you want. Worst name for a peanut butter ever.

The BMW 6 Series Gran Coupe might be my second-favorite BMW of those I have driven. Had to visit a cousin in Waibstadt, Germany and picked this up for the Autobahn haul from Munich. It's a big unit to haul around village back roads (like the one it's parked on), but it loves high-speed runs...

South Beach, Atkins, Paleo, and now The Bentley Diet. This is the Continental GT V8S I recently had, out at Playa del Rey for a day at the beach. If you want to lose weight, this is a fine way to do it, but I still prefer the full-fat W12. I'd rather skip the creme brulee than those four extra cylinders...

One of my three favorite shots from last weekend's Rolex 24 at Daytona. It was freezing that night. Achieved a personal best for consuming hot chocolate over a six-hour span, in Florida of all places.
