The Rhino Press is a nation-wide student-run online newspaper based in Houston. Founded by students from Carnegie Vanguard High School, ranked #11 of all public high schools by The Washington Post.
Living in what we believe to be the most volatile time of history, the Press captures every significant moment of our experiences at Carnegie and the 21st century plethora of daily phenomenons — rising apps, TV shows, political upheavals, the NBA playoffs — you name it. Going far beyond the typical tedious, spoon-fed newspaper, The Rhino Press exhibits the interests of the student body, from the latest Sports records to the Weekly Poll. Managed through an enthusiastic staff of writers, editors, and photographers, The Rhino Press fulfills its duty of providing engaging, premium, grass-fed updates for all Carnegie students and staff members. Editor-in-chief is Jessica Jin ’16.
