Food is just ok, but the portions are extremely small for the price. The service was also ok, but the female waitresses looked as if they had the worst day of their life.

Amazing sushi, very high quality. There's probably marginally better places in Chicago, but those are extremely expensive and high end down town types. This is by no means cheap, but very excellent quality and value. Ask for some hand rolls, they are awesome.

Had a variety of hot and cold dishes. Nothing was bad, but nothing stood out that much either. Highlights were the pork robata and the kampachi sake maki roll. The kim chee ramen and sweet potato yasai were average at best. Service was very good.

Praises to the sushi chefs at Arami for fresh and artistic sushi presented as beautifully as they were delicious. However of all that we ordered The ZUKE MAGURO GANI still lingers in my memory like a masterfully composed rhapsody performed to perfection, exactly as the original composer imagined. Amazing! Do not miss it.

I don't think this place deserves a Bib Gourmand. The food is way overpriced with small portions, and does not necessarily taste better than any other sushi place. The Toro tartare bite was minuscule for the $5 that it cost.

Love this place. The sushi is just as good if not better than the best places in town, without all the hype and rushed service of places like Sunda and Japonais. Just great sushi with attentive service in a relaxing environment.

Arami is a japanese restaurant with urban flair. We ordered the hokkaido ramen and the kim chiramen, both excellent, and a specially imported sake made just for Arami, which is excellent with smoky food and enjoyed about room temperature, maybe a little more chilled. They have seasonal selections as well, such a corn cobblet with miso butter which is to die for! Didn't get around to dessert, but am definately going back to sample the rest of the menu...
