We've known that Arami was a top destination for best-in-the-country sushi for a while now. Their fish is always top quality and a couple of their "special sashimi" dishes literally brought me to tears the first time I had them. (Marking the first and last time I've ever had this experience with food). However, we hadn't explored the vegetarian side of the menu until recently. Let me reiterate that I absolutely love their sushi - it is better than the sushi we had in Japan. But their vegetarian fair is just as good, and I'm not really sure how that's even possible. Dishes not to miss include: - special sashimi (all of them) - veg ramen - uni shooter - maitake robata - eringi maki - basically anything else that sounds remotely good. You literally can't go wrong at this place.

Some of the best sushi in the city. Don't let the lack of pretention fool you, this is as good as it gets.

Praises to the sushi chefs at Arami for fresh and artistic sushi presented as beautifully as they were delicious. However of all that we ordered The ZUKE MAGURO GANI still lingers in my memory like a masterfully composed rhapsody performed to perfection, exactly as the original composer imagined. Amazing! Do not miss it.

Amazing sushi, very high quality. There's probably marginally better places in Chicago, but those are extremely expensive and high end down town types. This is by no means cheap, but very excellent quality and value. Ask for some hand rolls, they are awesome.

Arami hasn't shared anything with you.
