Really a hidden gem of Northeast PA! Do yourself a favor and go! Excellent, personal service. Quality gourmet dishes for very reasonable prices.

Ohhh, the Brown Barn Cafe, we don't know where to begin! Collectively, we've been here far to many times and will never stop going. Brown Barn is one of those tucked away places you sneak off too and never tell anyone about because you don't want too many people to know. The outside owns up to it's name. but the inside is where the magic happens. The first thing you walk through is the chocolate shop in the foyer...yes a chocolate shop! (which is where all the yummy desserts come from!) Then you get into the Cafe. What really makes it stand out is the open kitchen. As you are seated, you see the chefs running around and cooking. The sight and smell is like walking into the kitchen at your YaYa's house and having that instant feeling of being at home. Then there's the food. Lunch is amazing. The sandwiches are all delicious (you must have the BLT!!!) and they have a half sandwich/half soup or salad option that you'll want to do. Even their salads make the biggest carnivore salivate. Dinner rotates and has selections from Ethiopian Shepherds pie to Potato and Kale Stuffed Pork Chops. Meaty, Vegan or just plain hungry, Brown Barn Cafe is a must do! (just don't tell too many people!)

Loved the food - fresh, made with care and original - not your typical nepa food. I'd recommend for any foodie or someone who wants an elevated experience without paying fancy restaurant prices.

My favorite place to go when i want to try something new. They always have something new and it's always wonderful. Great atmosphere. Very good service, they are so kind and generous to their guests. I recommend this place every chance i get. Ive even tried a few recipes they made available in the local newspaper. Top notch place!
