Had a lovely light meal with some excellent wines at the wine bar (the main restaurant was closed for renovations when we were there). We were sat by the window into the small kitchen and were treated to seeing meals prepared and then prepared for presentation by the chefs there. They were clearly taking very great care with their preparation. It was a real treat.

Wow ! Amazing concept ! First, the food is excellent, tasty and colorful. The wines are really well chosen. You can buy the book of the chef, who was working in London before. He was called "the frenchie" :D

Loved it! Great food. Menu changes nightly. We had an amazing beet salad & excellent mussels. Good wine too. Under rated at 4.1- for casual fare wuth trained technique - a fun vibe & atmosphere with a cool, interesting crowd, it's hard to beat. Not really a wine bar, more dinner.

A positively lovely experience. Great food, fantastic wine, and the ability to make new friends makes Frenchies worth the trip. Go on a weekday to avoid waiting. Next time we come, hopefully we'll beat the crowds to the foie gras.

Always, always crowded... A typical bar à vins in a little cute street that has a nice atmosphere. I recommend it only if you manage to find a table..

Critics have been raving about this spot since its opening. Reservations are still booked months in advance but if you do manage to snag a table at this hot-spot neobistro, it is sure to live up to its hype. The menu is fresh and inventive and designed around ingredients picked up that same morning. The price is incredibly affordable with menus at 27 or 33 euro for two or three courses as well as afforable wines and a billingual staff. Our only complaint is that the service can take quite a while so plan to stay at least two hours and savour every bite.
