I have been eating here for more than 20 years.. The burritos are my favorite... The bean and cheese burrito and the combo burrito are awesome! Sometimes though -- I just have to order a hard taco or the rice with green chili to go with it. 2 items and a drink are perfect for lunch... and 3 items are perfect for dinner. Whatever you order, be sure to get some of the red sauce to pour all over your food! Even though they come with sauce, I usually open my burrito up and dump another sauce in there, then I used the lid to the sauce container to stir the contents before I fold the thing back up! These things are so good that I even had them shipped 3,000 miles one time all the way to Boston on dry ice! What a treat for me, while deprived of some of my favorite food, all the way in New England. I'm getting hungry now just thinking about it!

Growing up in the neighborhood I must say Henry's Tacos is a part of regular life, but I warn it must be done right! Don't go to Henry's expecting the normal Mexican-style food service. There is only one good food there (aside from their ice!), and that's what keeps it alive; The Soft Taco. With hot sauce. Get your taco, unwrap it, and pour in half of your hot sauce (It's not super spicy, but extra flavorful), wrap it back up and take a bite... then you're hooked.

Cheap food, but just not for me. A much better place is Hugo's Tacos in Studio City. Or check out a fantastic taco truck on Vineland and Vanowen every night after 6 p.m. In the car wash parking lot. Absolutely fantastic.

I feel like I grew up on this, so im pretty sad to see it go. The food is honestly crap, but some of my best memories are when we would skip school and come here to chill out

When one thinks of delicious tacos one thinks of home made tortillas, fresh ingredients, shredded beef, and loads of cheese. Not the case with Henry's Tacos. At two dollars and some change a pop you get the run of the mill pre-made taco shell with ground beef at a size you'd regret forking out on. As for me I'm still looking for for that one stop shop that caters to all my needs. 24 hour service with a menu featuring the likes of Chorizo Tortas, Carne Asada Burritos, Horchata, and Shredded Beef Tacos to name a few. Now if I can only find a place comparable to Filibertos... Pros * Cheap * Convenient * Fast Service * Cool Sign Cons * Quality * Value * Ground Beef * Pre-made shells Review date: 10/17/2008

I've always been a big fan of Henry's tacos. The food is good and cheap. It's a historical place, as its been on the corner of Tujunga and Moorpark for 50+ years. If you haven't been, it's something you should definitely try at least once in your lifetime.

Join Henry's at it's new location: just a half block south of the old place on Tujunga (in Studio Sub's old digs)!
