Although we usually watch the movies individually, once in a great while, members will get together to watch a movie. Nosferatu wasn't one that we reviewed but several people got together to see it, since it was the "subject" of "Shadow of a Vampire." Let's just say filmmaking has come a long way in 90 years!
Thanks to +Shane Rhyne for turning me onto the link.

More than once, I have found myself becoming more interested in seeing a movie from hearing an interview on The Strand than from seeing a trailer or ad.

If the lack of football is making you a little jumpy, some friends in North Jersey have some movie suggestions to get you ready for the big game.

To jump start the movie discussion of The Last Circus consider this: The Last Circus is like a half-mad superhero movie where there are 2 Jokers and Batman can't be found!

Shane Rhyne originally shared:

Bond. James Bond.

I'm a life-long fan of the James Bond series. And don't mind saying that even something as simple as a release of a preview image from the next movie appeals to the Bond-geek in me.

Anyone else looking forward to Skyfall?

Talking about the movies that speak to us
Introduction
We're just like a book club for movies on DVD! Each month we watch a movie (individually), then meet to discuss it on the 3rd Wednesday at 7:00 pm. Discussions usually aren't technical, but rather are plot driven. So even if you don't know the difference between Judd Apatow and Stanley Kubrick, your input is still vital.
