That would reduce interruptions, but would also slow down team communication and decision making.
As always, there should be some optimal balance: not too many "quick questions" and not too little.

Hi Dennis. Thanks for sharing your insight. I believe this system strikes the very balance you're talking about. The 4th step is to answer the question right then, if a quick answer is required.

In my experience helping businesses implement this system, there is an initial slowdown, but after month or so of getting this up and running, the productivity gains increase significantly. This is because most "quick questions" aren't the result of true emergencies, but rather inefficient meetings and poor planning.

Staged.
It's very unlikely for teacher to behave like that and use physical abuse. Especially in the situation like that.
Verbal abuse might be possible, but even verbal part of abuse seems unrealistic, considering the circumstances.

Fake.
That Merkel's reaction is from 1 minute before.
She chuckled in response to that Putin's joke.

He IS an agnostic. And atheism IS a religion.

+0okamino I use narrow definition of atheism, because wider definition of atheism can NOT be contrasted with agnosticism.
If someone is saying "I am not agnostic, but atheist", he clearly means "atheist" in a narrower sense of atheism.

Yes, we may put the author of this video into "Agnostic atheism" bucket. But he still would be in the "agnostic" camp (which he denies).

Regarding "Earth will just keep rotating" theory: that theory is scientific unlike "god does [not] exist" theory (because it is not falsifiable) .
Believing in proved scientific theory is not faith.
Believing in something not-provable is faith.

I never was a theist, but as a child I was an atheist (in the narrow definition of word "atheism").
I know the difference between agnostics and atheists. The difference is faith.

Yes I do Dennis. I think that's a weird Google+ quirk where it uses past tense even though I'm still currently working here :)

Introduction
I'm a software developer.

Back in 2003 one of recruiters I worked with complained that it costs lots of money to post a job on major job boards.
In 2006 I launched PostJobFree.com and still working on it.

One of the reasons I created PostJobFree.com was to test some artificial intelligent (AI) techniques. It took over a year of implementing basic features on PostJobFree in order to get to the point where AI features made business sense for the web site.
See: Narrow AI in PostJobFree.com.
