Love the food, love the atmosphere. The only thing I have a problem with is the servers. Last time we went, our waitress didn't ask once how the food was. She didn't even bring the food out herself. She sat around flirting with guys, didn't ask if we wanted a refill. Not even eye contact was made. She just tosses our check at us. Obviously she didn't want a tip. Went back a month after, same waitress was there. We had a different server this time, and she was awesome at the start. But it seems after the two conversed, she came back to our table with an attitude. I'm in the Hospitality industry as well. I get we all have bad days, but we need to learn to throw that out the window. Cause Malone's is a great place. But nobody deserves to be treated that way at any establishment. If I was acting in a rude manner to be treated that way, all is fair. But I treat everybody in my industry with respect and tip 100% of my bill. But an obvious 0 is a 0.

PROS: Our go-to restaurant in Maple Grove, especially for breakfast/brunch. We have always had good/quick service and the food is always good and at a reasonable price. Their breakfast deal is the best, $8.50 for a full breakfast on Saturdays and Sundays (includes 5 menu choices: Omelet, Breakfast Sandwich, Eggs Benedict, French Toast, or Huevos Rancheros) AND you get a choice of a Bloody Mary (a little on the spicy side, but great) or a Screwdriver! A good way to start the weekend in my opinion! The Eggs Benedict and Bloody Mary combo is my favorite, and for $8.50 total you can't beat it. For lunch and dinner their waffle fries are delicious and they have great burgers as well. As for beer, they have a pretty solid selection on tap. Also a great place to watch a game, there's about a dozen TV's and even a big-screen out on the patio. CONS: It is more of a sports bar atmosphere and can get loud and busy during peak times or if there is a big game on, so if you want a quiet sit-down restaurant this place is not for you. There can also be a longer wait during these times as well, but it's like that anywhere in Maple Grove.

This food is terrible...I'm convinced that the only reason why it's packed is because folks come from rural areas with few restaurant options, to the Maple Grove area. Everything they have on their menu can be made better at home in your own kitchen. The prices are too high for that less than mediocre bar food. Save your money, there's LOADS of other better places to eat for the money.

Not Maynards. You can tell the pedigree but the style and service miss the mark. Sloppy service and sloppily served food (ahi tuna starter and flatbread) We waited 1/2 hour after our reservation time to be seated, at the table 10 minutes before a waitress showed up. We were treated to a series of momentary service transactions. - no concept of customer care. And the carpet sweepers came out at 8/30 - 4 1/2 hours before they close. And a word of advice..... Don't have a wall full of clocks if your service is really slow. Next time, we'll go to Maynards in Rogers and get the real thing.

Best place in Maple Grove. Great environment, great service, and better food! If I could recommend a hidden gem on their menu, anything firecracker (insert smiley face with heart eyes) !! Best staff in town.

The food was awesome but the service was better! Our waitress Jess was fantastic. Also there was a minor mix up which caused one member of our parties food to be delayed. The manager came out to apologize for the wait and then gave our table dessert. They really went above and beyond. I spent the rest of our time watching the manager (I never caught his name) bounce around and check in with people. It tells me one thing, they really care about the customer experience. I think the negative reviews of the place are wrong or that they have dramatically increased service. Also it was suuuuuuper busy and they found time to trwat us right, keep up the good work.

The food was absolutely awful! This is not the type of place you go for a great meal. Considering one app, one drink, and two entrees cost $60, there is ZERO benefit to eating here for any occasion. In fact, I would have preferred dinner at Chick Fil A over the garbage served at Malones.

Called and asked about reserving a table of 8 for my family. The day was going to be on a Vikings game day. I was told it would be too busy for us, and that they prefer serving the Vikings fans because they buy more alcohol. I asked how busy is "too busy" and was also told not to bother coming in. Apparently their staff were not trained on proper customer service techniques. If I'm not good enough to visit their restaurant as a paying customer because I'm not a Vikings fan buying alcohol, I'll take my business elsewhere. I have no desire to ever visit this establishment after the way I was spoken to.
