I always enjoy what's new. New technologies, new startups, new gadgets, new themes and memes, and new places.
I've lived in many places. I'm grateful to have had the opportunity to live in so many unique settings and experience what it is to be a local in so many different communities. Now that I have a family and kids, it is more difficult to uproot and move to a new environment and rarely worth it just for "the experience". However, we have still found opportunity to try new parts of the country every 3-5 years. I doubt we'll be doing any moving anytime soon, but I now have a complete list of favorite places and peoples across the country for anytime I visit.
I've also worked for a wide variety of companies. I thought my career would be in technology as a sysadmin or networking technician. However, early in that career I discovered internet marketing. I stumbled upon marketing by trying to get traffic to a site I created (which I was very successful with). I've been addicted since. How humans interact with marketing materials, websites, workflows, search queries, etc. truly fascinates me. Finding out why one user clicks and another doesn't will always amuse me.
I'm not an SEO. I'm a marketer.
