It seems that most of the smaller (and many of the larger) games are going this way. Word of mouth from Austin tells me that the game industry as a whole is struggling, esp the smaller shops.. esp the smaller shops with the "old" buy-a-big-title-for-50-bucks model
So is this a bad trend? Is it just greed or is it the evolving marketplace?
