Just a comment. "Assignment: Earth" was initially meant to be the pilot for a potential spinoff with Gary Seven and Terri Garr in a sci-fi version of something like The Man from UNCLE.

2017 Witches & Witchcraft Reading Challenge
Ok, the year is almost half over, and I just discovered this reading challenge. It's still not too late, as the Challenge only requires one book, fiction or not fiction, to succeed. I believe I'll do more than that.  I'm not sure where to start...some many ...

Review: Batgirl, Vol. 1: Batgirl of Burnside
I am not the target demographic for this story. Not in the least.  I'm old, fat, 47, and married with 5 children. On the flip side,  I am  a big geek and love my super hero stories; plus, the graphic novel  club I'm in chose this for our D.C. selection for ...

This is probably heresy but....

With the relaunch of Blood Bowl I've been playing again and it occurs to me...

Has anyone ever had the game in their sessions? Not like a campaign but as a side quest? Say the players are in Bogenhavn between adventures and a couple of teams show up to play at the local pitch. I can see a fun night's atypical game off of that.

I've wanted to use this in a Star Trek campaign. Might be worth trying in D&D/S&WC.

Cover that I put together for my DC Heroes DM/Campaign Folder. With the exception of Suicide Squad #1 (1987) and New Teen Titans #2 (1980), all the covers are 85-86.

I know it was written for MegaTraveller, but did anyone else adapt COACC for use in Classic? I did back in the day; just curious if anyone else did.

One of the first things I did when I found Star Frontiers was to adapt the Hani from C.J. Cherryh's Chanur novels for the game. References to the Mahendo'sat were changed to the Yazirians and references to the Kif became the Sathar. Big giant felines for the win!

On my thread yesterday about how you arrived in the Frontier, +Pierre Savoie mentioned adapting Bladerunner for SF. I mentioned my friend Robert who statted out different SciFi vessels in Knight Hawks for epic crossover battles.

What adaptations have you made for Star Frontiers?

EDIT: I forgot to mention the official adaptations of 2001 and 2010.

Mutiny on the Eleanor Moraes.

This is it. This is the module that made me get Star Frontiers. I seem to to remember getting it when I was a sophomore in high school, so '85-86. I had been gaming since Christmas of 1981 when I got the 1e Gamma World boxed as a Christmas present from my aunt and uncle (who were clueless--it was on a list of stuff I wanted; I had seen the ad in "Ranger Rick!"). One of my good friends got the Moldvay Basic Set a couple of months later for his birthday and we were off and running!

Up to this point, we had played Gamma World, AD&D/D&D, DragonQuest, Traveller, FASA Star Trek, and Marvel Supers. Some other stuff, too, but those were our mainstays. Then I saw Elmore's evocative cover in Waldenbooks. And we were off with another one! In fact, one of my friends used the Knight Hawks rules to work up stats for all the SciFi ships...Trek, Galactica, Star Wars, etc., so we could have crossover battles!

So, what brought you to the Frontier?
