The same famous brisket, sausage & sides as the Driftwood original, plus a leafy stone patio.- Google
"We got 2 platters with brisket, beef ribs, sausage, cole slaw, and beans."
"I have no idea what the substance they call potato salad is."

I had about 8 people tell me how good this place was so I was all about driving 45 min to go try it. I was pumped. I love bbq. I had sausage, brisket, and ribs with the normal sides. It was ok, I don't know if it's because I had high expectations because of all they hype it was given, or what. The sausage was good, brisket had no flavor, and ribs were pretty tough. Now the bbq sauce was the bomb. I tried both. Both are very good. Cole slaw was good too, being that I don't like Cole slaw. Potato salad was good. Beans had no flavor at all, canned beans have more flavor. Hope you have better luck

As soon as you walk in you smell amazing BBQ. It was absolutely, some of the best BBQ I have ever had. The all you can eat option is great as you can try different meats and sides. Great value and great tasting. Really good service too.

AMAZING BBQ!!!! When I was visiting my son in Texas, he took my sister & I to The Salt Lick. We were amazed - it was like going to Knotts Berry Farm, but with incredible BBQ & the Pit of Meat was awesome. We went back again and to both locations. When I make my road trip from Florida to California, I will make it a point to stop there again!!!

The Brisket was cooked almost to perfection while the ribs were overdone. I have no idea what the substance they call potato salad is. The beans are good and Cole slaw is vinegar based. THIS IS NOT TEXAS BBQ! There is no flavor.... I mean nothing. Even the pecan pie is lack luster in flavor. You have to use the sauce to have any enjoyment out of eating the meat. Prices are above average for the portions and the service is fast but I won't return.

The thing that rubbed me the wrong way the most was the check. When the check came out, the calculations they do for the tip at the bottom were incorrect. They were based on the post-tax bill. I guess they figure people are too dumb to do the calculations themselves. The wait staff must like it though. Other stuff: the service was poor. The wait was excessive for 3:00 on a Sunday, especially when there were a half-dozen tables open at all times. They told us we couldn't have plates for the bread because they didn't have enough. They took forever to get our food out. They ran out of Turkey and French fries for the kids.

Great bbq! Totally not understanding all the recent bad reviews. Went on a Friday night and had a 30 min wait, which was fine due to the fact that they had live music outside and plenty of seating. Our waitress was very nice and always smiling. The tables were clean, despite how busy it was. Their bread is good, and the wait for our food was extremely reasonable, about 15 minutes. Everything came out correct, and tasted fantastic! You get a good amount of food for the money you pay. Overall, it was a great dining experience and i would return and or recommend it to others!

Definitely not good but not horrible either. This is not real Texas BBQ. I didn't like the sauce at all...Sausage was good, ribs are okay, brisket was tasteless...beans okay, coleslaw was tart not to good, and potato salad was horrible. PS... nothing had a smokey taste to it. Sad but Rudy's is definitely better

Decent food. Picnic table seating inside. Guitar outside.
