Horrible system and horrible customer service. Paid my premium weeks ago and the system still reflects that I haven't paid them. Can't get anyone on the phone and when you do they can't give you any answers. Considering the fact that rates are consistently rising, you'd think that such a large company would be able to afford up to date technology and training for their customer service reps.

I just had my first telemedicine visit, made possible by Independence Blue Cross. It was so great! I was super sick and never had to leave my couch - I just used the app to call up a provider, who was able to diagnose me with strep throat and call in a prescription within 7 minutes. Awesome!

Where do I begin? Do I start with how they took my money for my premium for 4 months then conveniently told me I was not covered and back tracked it to four months prior? After several phone calls that lasted no less than 3 hours each with both IBX and the marketplace, in which they were informed by the government that they committed tax fraud, they refunded my $600. Unfortunately, I was still set to begin coverage with them in the upcoming month, and I have spent over 40 hours on the phone with their lousy customer service for no less than 50 hours in 3 weeks time. My calls have been escalated, I have been given reference numbers, they see that I have not had coverage for months, but their computers refuse to let me pay my premium unless I pay for the months I was not covered. They "Don't know what to do to fix this". This is the biggest racket I've ever dealt with and they should be thoroughly investigated.

THIEVES! SCAMMERS! These thugs had no problem cashing my premium checks for several decades, but now that I have claims they are trying to weasel their way out of paying. Independence Blue Cross had no problem cashing my $3,000 check in December, which was six months of premiums in advance. These creeps waited until the last minute to notify me that they had not received the check, even though my bank said that they had already cashed it. I now have to wait three weeks to receive a copy of the cancelled check from my bank, which by then will be too late because my insurance will have been cancelled. I tried to pay Independence Blue Cross an additional $3,000 today over the phone, but they have mysteriously not processed my payment. Independence Blue Cross is a CRIMINAL ENTERPRISE that deliberately defrauds its customers. I suspect that they know that a certain percentage of customers they cheat will not bother to pursue them and will just eat the losses. I intend to sue this crooked company and name its president and CEO as a codefendant. I may even have the suit certified as a class action. I have wasted frustrating hours trying to resolve this matter already, but have gotten nothing but lies and fake excuses. One of Independence Blue Cross' schemes is to confuse unprofitable customers by giving them several different account numbers in the hope that they will not write all of the numbers on their checks, thus giving IBC an excuse to cancel their policies. Independence Blue Cross is the most dishonest insurance company on Earth! Buy your insurance from anyone else, as anyone is more honorable than Independence Blue Cross -- and infinitely less aggravating!

Waiting on perma-hold as I type this. All in an effort to simply update my primary care physician. Not bargain insurance either. This costs my family 1200 per month for two middle aged adults and two 8-10 year old children. All in perfect health. I dont blame IBC entirely, I place most blame on the people who have taken advantage of the system for so many years showing up at ERs for general health care. I blame the flaming idiot liberals and others who think we should all be equal in society. We'll we are getting there. Looks like we are all equally miserable. Hows that for hope and change? You asked for it, you got you dopes.
