Huge news today... our company, Lanyrd, has been acquired by Eventbrite!
Lanyrd is becoming part of the Eventbrite family! We’re confident that Lanyrd will be better than ever as a result, and we’re launching some handy new integrations with Eventbrite to celebrate.

Are +The Onion really erecting a paywall, or is this a parody of horrible paywall popovers?

http://www.raywenderlich.com/24252/beginning-game-programming-for-teens-with-python is a pretty great PyGame tutorial written by 12 year old Julian Meyer.

I pressed the wrong button at some point and now I have two Google+ accounts - this one, and one for my @lanyrd.com Google Apps account.

I want to get rid of the @lanyrd.com one (so people don't add the wrong "me" to their circles)... but when I go to delete that Google+ account it warns me that "You won't be able to use the "Sign in with Google" button to log in to third-party apps."

This is no good, because I use "Sign in with Google" with that account for a bunch of important tools such as Trello.

Am I completely stuck here?

We added a speaker directory to Lanyrd last week and it includes a well-populated Python speakers section - take a look.
