Air your grievances (and show your love) at our annual Tool Library Festivus Fundraiser this Friday, Dec 5th, 5-9pm, over at the +SoDo MakerSpace.  Excellent chance to celebrate another record setting year and also ensure that the Tool Library has the resources for many more to come.

The Greater Seattle Bureau of Fearless Ideas, formerly 826 Seattle, is planning to set up shop in our neck of the woods with a new location in White Center! Having thoroughly covered space travel up in Greenwood, is there any chance that the new storefront will have a robotics/makerspace theme?

New tool libraries just keep popping up! Another great project will soon open its doors just across the water from us on Vashon Island. Home of the original "no-trash-bash-stash," Vashon is a perfect spot for this shared community resource!

West Seattle Summerfest fun continues all day today with GreenLife demos on canning, going carless, preventing invasives, growing medicinal gardens & city herb, installing solar power, and, of course, a bit of dancing. A little something for every type of green living!
