The service was friendly and quick, and the food seemed good. They sell only Greek lager, bit actually Mythos was quite nice. They also sell mostly Greek wine, but they had at least one from France. I'm not a huge fan of Greek food, but the Meze was tasty, moist, and plentiful.

For a wedding, there was only one working til at the bar. There was commonly only 1 person serving, which caused a queue of 4 people. Prices were quite high too for the drinks - £16 for 2 x becks, 1 short Lemonade, and a bottle of bud.

The menu had changed, so my favourite steak and kidney pudding was gone. Welcome was good, but took half an hour for drinks to arrive (which the waitress added twice to our bill). Food was ok. I had the steak and kidney pie - lots of gravy which was good, and it was fully packed, but nothing rustic. Partner had lamb burger which tasted nice! Waitress twice said we couldn't have the 2 meals +wine for £20. Until another waiter corrected her. Large, spacious, and lovely garden. Even free dog treats. The rooms they have looked quite nice! Waiter very happily corrected the bill when I pointed out the error. I suspect the waitress was new, and the food was fine. So yes, I would return, and recommend it. Especially because of the location.
