Cheerful, rustic decor matches the down-home & reasonably priced Greek cuisine.- Google

One of the few restaurants I have visited more than once...and THAT'S saying something. With so many restaurants to choose from in NYC, you would never have to eat at the same place twice. With that said, I'm very selective about where I eat because I love trying new places. You KNOW it's a good place if I'm a repeat customer!

average greek place, nothing really amazing. I was surprised they dont have musaka and pasta is not very tasty. Meats plates seem good.

I'm so sad that I avoided at dining at Kefi for so long because I thought I'd eaten here and that I didn't enjoy it. This is what happens when you live in a city with too many places to eat and you lose track of where you eat at. Anyways Kefi is so good. We had the pork souvlaki and a ravioli special. Both were delicious and filling. Everything on the menu looked great. We were sad that we had just missed the early dinner pre fixe menu where you get an app, entree and dessert for around $16. the entrees we had were generally $2 less than this price so we felt like we missed out on a deal since we arrived a few minutes after this special ended. The space is huge, clean and the staff was very attentive. Would definitely recommend Kefi as a great place to eat at on a weeknight.

There was tons of seating available when we went. The passive aggressive hostess kept seating everyone next to each other. There's 3" of space between your table and the neighbor. Yes it's NYC, but sometimes I still enjoy having dinner with my wife without essentially having 12 strangers at my table. Sorry you guys find it so demanding when someone asks for a quiet table. Maybe the hostess is better suited for working in a jail cafeteria, with docile inmates rather than in a restaurant.

Terrible experience! They do not clean the silverware, had to ask twice to get them changed! There was still food on the fork.

What a great restaurant! We were in the City for only a day and found this place in our Moon travel book. The staff were all friendly and accommodating. Many of the menu items were unique (to us) and absolutely delicious! Our server - Cristian - not only knew the menu front to back (which was invaluable for my family's special dietary needs), but was also a bit of a concierge for our visit and made several helpful suggestions for enjoying the City! I am very glad I brought my family here to dine. Be sure to try the "Sheeps Milk Dumplings, Tomato, Pine Nuts, Spicy Lamb Sausage" dish. Mouthwatering and filling!

A really lively place with Greek food! I tried the grilled octopus and the Chicken Souvlaki. Octopus was not tough at all and both portions were sizable.
