I was at my day job today when a fire broke not too far from the office. It was about lunch time so I grabbed my camera bag and went in search of a photo. I missed the green light that would have given me quick passage across main street by about 5 seconds. While waiting for the next chance to cross and continue I watched the smoke plume change from dark black to gray, an indication that water was on the fire. When I found a spot out of the way and began taking pictures it was all over but the overhaul. I did get some nice shots of the moving here and there, though, including this photo of Chief Keller of North Logan who was walking with his truck company crew towards the fire building.
