The bouncer, was hateful. He does not know how Puerto Rican licence looks like and that is even a US licence. He "threaten" me to call the police because my licence was "fake", I hope he had done it! He was racists and discriminates towards, Puerto Rican's and Hispanics!! I don't recommend it!! Don't go there!!

Great venue for concerts. Upstairs offers room for reservations. Recommend going up to the rooftop during the winter for a Hot Toddy.

Use to love coming to this bar. ..the bartenders are awesome but they have some serious problems with their bouncers. Two weeks ago an extremely drunk psycho decided to eavesdrop on my friends conversation and didnt agree with what they were saying...which wasnt anything bad and honestly none of his business. Well then he proceeds to become irate and threatening to beat us up. The bouncers watched this go down and when I yelled back at the guy I was escorted out? I guess I could've remained calm but it is hard when someone is threatening to fight you. I also guess the bouncers who witnessed this shouldve thrown the right guy out of the bar. Long story short...awesome bartenders...horrible security!

I am writing this review to the OWNERS in regards to the BOUNCER only. We went out sober expecting to drink at this bar with all of our friends on 2/16/2014 at 1:10AM and this guy rejected half of our friends and let half in. We found this very odd. He was shaking very hard while holding our id's (We all thought he was on drugs if not withdrawling). We are going to not only tell everyone that reads this review but also beware going to this bar at night. It will not be worth your time. We thought it was going to be a great place to go to, but apparently they only let the drunkest in. BUYER BEWARE!!!! YOU NEED A NEW BOUNCER YOU KICKED OUT HUNDRED OF DOLLARS FOR NO REASON AT ALL. WHEN YOU HAVE A DRUGGIE RUNNING YOUR DOOR IT REFLECTS ON YOUR BUSINESS. AND YOU BUSINESS PAYS YOU BILLS.

I saw Wavves and Fidlar here. It is pretty small but that means you can be closer to the band. I am under 21 so I didn't get any drinks so I can't review the bar or whatever. But I like this venue a lot.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVERRRRRRR!! the only good thing about this bar is the friendly bartenders!!!! the rest of the staff are UNPROFESSIONAL and EXTREMELY RUDE!! My friends and I went out on a Saturday night, 14 of us, each bought at least 2 drinks, plus tips. You do the math. AND WHAT DOES THE BOUNCER DO? LITERALLY PICKED UP A 5'1" GIRL, WEIGHING 100 LBS, OUT THE DOOR WITH NO WARNINGS AND SLAMMED THE DOOR ON HER BACK! Reason? NONE! She went back in to ask him why, he couldn't even come up with a legit answer and tosses her out again and says "have a nice life!" WTF?! She was completely sober, not causing any trouble and the stupid uneducated bouncer decided to throw her out for no effin reason!! My friend woke up the next day with sores and bruises and decided to email the owner. He approached the situation with apologetic manners and offered VIP passes to a concert free of charge at first, backing up his staff by saying they're professional, but by the third email, completely 180 degrees changes his attitude and threatens that this matter is now in his lawyer's hands! Then the next day, the co owner decided to call my friend to tell her that they didn't find anything in the security tape that showed them mistreating her. The co owner talked fast, loud and completely refused to let my friend talk. She wanted to go there and see the tapes her self. Next thing he "professionally" said was: "F YOU!" and hung up. She called back and no one answered. She called back again and the "secretary" answered saying that the co owner isn't there. My friend proceeded to schedule an appointment and the "secretary" says that she doesn't know the office hours. What. The. F!!... My friend then called him on his cell phone and he finally answered yelling: "just give up already!! Nothing's gonna happen!!" If this is the so called "professional" staff with "trained manners", I can't possibly imagine what "unprofessional" is. The doorman had no reason to throw my friend out with such force! We've all been drunk before at other bars and of course have been kicked out, but more like escorted out. NO ONE's ever literally picked us up and thrown us out! We all paid and tipped our drinks and were all sober! I now understand that the reason for such unprofessional service isn't fully the doorman's own fault, it's also due to the unprofessional and crappy management.
