I've been searching for glaco sewing machines with a walking foot based on your recommendation and nothing current comes up. In fact most ads are very old. I saw one older add selling a glaco they claimed was the same as a consew 226r only one is made in Texas and the other in japan. Is this true with all glaco models? There appears to be a lot more adds for consew
When my wife and I first saw this commercial I said he looks like a homeless guy strung out on speed. After seeing this commercial so many time I finally wondered if anyone thought the same thing and it's all over the place.
If someone likes the adjustable speed of the Singer motor in your video but has an AC motor like on the Glaco they may be able to use one of the small Variac voltage regulators on the market. It's as easy as plugging the sewing machine into the regulator and the regulator into the wall socket, then use the dial. Make sure to get the model compatible with your motor. http://www.variactransformer.co/variac_models_and_pricing.html
I downloaded Cloud Player an have liked it, so I have been trying to upgrade to full features for a couple of days and get a server error message. The app is on my iPad and iPhone. How can I get the full features?
As you mentioned you like to sell your old equipment to buy the latest. I'm an Apple household and the resale value on older Apple hardware is outstanding. I've gone through 4 models of iPhones and have only had to pay for the original one I got because the money I make on the previous pays for the new. You can't do the same with the other non-subsidized gear but it does take a BIG chunk out of the new one's price.
