The U.S. Census Bureau’s American Community Survey showed that the greater Los Angeles area is one of the poorest areas in the country. GRACE is partnering with the Stanford Center on Poverty and Inequality to research anti-poverty measures that can help. #EndPoverty

This week, the +uscensusbureau  released new #poverty and income data that is used to calculate the official #poverty rate in the U.S. While we are finally starting to see the line move in a positive direction on childhood poverty, there is still much work to be done. Overall poverty rates are still higher than before the recession.
