Since its inception in 2001, The Upper Crust Pizzeria has been serving award-winning pizza to Boston-area residents craving something delicious and extraordinary.  In January 2013, new owners and management expanded upon the original concept: use fresh ingredients in traditional and unexpected ways on top of a flavorful crust. The menu has grown from classic combos to more unique and daring pairings, including pizzas like The Uncommon, The Fenway, Cameron’s BBQ and more. Any pizza can be made white (without tomato sauce) or red (without cheese) and is available on our traditional, whole wheat or gluten-free crust.

From our original storefront on Beacon Hill’s historic Charles Street, to any of our other metro area and suburban locations, customers can grab takeout, get delivery or choose to dine in.  Our award-winning architectural spaces include open kitchens, pizza pan-decorated ceilings and high-definition flat screens, all adding up to deliver a truly unique experience that can only be described as Upper Crust.

I placed an order to pick up two calzones and some slices, when I arrived, they had forgotten to make the calzones. Here's what should have happened: I should have received a sincere apology, some effort to fix the problem, and some nod to my inconvenience (a discount, a coupon, etc.). Here's what happened: The woman running the register looked for the calzones, couldn't find them, so lied to me and said they were in the oven. One of the chefs started making them, put them in the oven, and gave them to me half-cooked. Although I had paid when I arrived (and tipped), I got nothing for my inconvenience. When I got home, I had to finish cooking the calzones, and the slices were desiccated. I'm done.

Cheap eats. Can't beat the price per slice! It is a pretty small restaurant and the weekly flavors are really good, with varied toppings and themes. When I went it was something to do with football. They have TVs so you can watch sports if you wish. It was a nice place to stop over for lunch.

Very good Pizza. reasonably priced. Defiantly one of my favorite pizzas. The place is just a bit too crowded sometimes.

Remember taking my middle son here a few years back, just me & him for the 1st time . My other children were in school, and I took advantage of the time we spent talking. Upper Crust, pricey..... but CANNOT PUT A PRICE ON QUALITY TIME WITH YOUR CHILD

Great pizza but know that it is a very thin crust. I prefer deep dish but this pizza was very good. It is crispier than New York style. Cheese bread was great and the staff working late was very accommodating. The pizza was done super quick!

Actually I wanted to go to an other restaurant located in the same street. But then we saw this place & wantwd to eat some pizza. You can wheter choose between regular slices (Peperoni (Salami), Margherita & the Pizza of the month), Lasagne or Salads. OR you can make your own Pizza. Firstly we had to choose which size we want (14'' or 18"), then you can choose your crust & finally your topings. They have everything! From bbq chicken, to sauges & lots of vergetables. We took the 18". On half we had, fresh mozzarella, sliced red peppers and prosciutto (it was reallt good! & the crust was very thin! Real italian... )On the other half we had caramelized onions, chicken & mushrooms which was also awesome. You can eat it there, take it to go or they deliver as well. And the prizes are more than reasonable! We paid only 15.50$ for this huge Pizza! Enjoy your Pizza!
