How does this look for Symbiots. A monster from Fading Suns that are well.. symbiots. I'm running like a monter ability akin to Undead. What do you think?
Symbiots are mutants They have no uniform build and can vary one form to another. They have a base template of whatever was used to create them plus the Symbiot Ability
Symbiots can communicate telepathically with other Symbiots within Spirit Kilometers.
Hardy: If the beast is Shaken, further Shaken results have no further effect—they do not cause a wound.
Psychic Weakness: Any psychic or theurgic attacks that affect the mind affect all symbiots within Spirit meters. The other symbiots suffer the affects as if they had the same stats as the original targets. Wild Card Symbiots use their own stats to resist.
In areas of intense terraforming and blight the Symbiots are -2 to all rolls due to Life Web feedback.
Roll twices on the list below. These powers are permanent and cannot be changed. (These are merely suggestions. You can assign Symbiots whatever powers you wish)
2: Natural Weaponry Str + d6 damage
4: Poison barb (Poison Ability)
5: Increased Strength +1D (+2 to Strength related rolls including melee damage)
6: Increased Agility +1D (+2 to Agility related rolls)
7: Increased Vigor +1D (+2 to Vigor related rolls)
8: Size increase +1d4 size (see the growth power p.113)
Some Symbiots have Shapeshifting. They can appear as normal creatures until they need to fight then they transform into their “war form” which all the powers (see above) activate and become apparent.
