No supervision Ashram. I wish I could give this place a better rating but there were just too many things to mention. First the good. 1. Yoga Classes 2x day, All Levels, challening enough for experienced practicioner like myself but not too hard core for beginners. 2. Food was served 3x day and was very good. 3. The staff were all super friendly and helfpul, Indian hospitality. 4. The Library has a great selection of books. Now the bad. 1. No Swami onsite, no philosophical lectures, no satsang, no upper managment as far as I can see.. this is an Ashram after all, I expected more spiritual guidance. For beginners this feels especially dissapointing. 2. The beautiful garden has been replaced with a gaping hole of a construction site. New tall buildings around obstruct the once pleasant views. 3. Our toilet seat broke and was never functionally repaired.. no big deal but worth mentioning. 4. Laundry pick up didn't happen although it was promised. 5. Fire puja was not well executed. The one guy who knew what he was doing departed and his replacement missed to do half of the procedure. In the end this place is not much of an Ashram right now... I am sure it will shine again when the construction is done and the Swamis are back. Om, Tim

What a magical place. I love the Sivananda Yoga Farm. After struggling through some hard times this place lifted me up into the highest vibrations. It led me to freedom through yoga, chanting and healthy living. The pure vibrational energy of this place, is enough to make anyone peel spiritual layers like an onion. I recently completed my Yoga Teachers Training at the Ashram and haven't felt this rejuvenated since I was born. You could say I am born-again, hark hark. No seriously. If you are looking for a genuine Ashram experience in the US it doesn't get any more authentic than then this place!
