Dino, a protection dog, came to see us for a fractured lower canine tooth (with pulp exposure). We performed a root canal to save the tooth, then did crown impressions. Dino came back two weeks later to have his crown placed. See his before and after photos below.

Sampson, whom we posted about in November, also had a 'bouquet' of first premolars! He had three maxillary first premolars bilaterally.

Harper came in to see us for a fractured lower right canine. Upon his oral examination, we discovered traumatic impingement on his lower lip from his maxillary canine teeth. Because he was not going to be released back into the wild, we removed all three canines.

Can you guess Harper's species?

Luna came in to see us for a possible impacted left maxillary canine tooth. Upon radiographs, we discovered that it was also dilacerated (malformed), probably due to trauma as a puppy. We extracted the canine and will be seeing Luna soon for her recheck!

Sampson recently came in to see us for a possible dentigerous cyst. After taking radiographs of his mouth, it was determined that he did indeed have one. We extracted the affected premolars (the first premolar was impacted) and thoroughly debrided the cystic lining. We placed synthetic bone into the defect and then closed with dissolvable suture. See the before and after radiographs below.
