An upscale lounge with gorgeous views of central park. An extensive cocktail menu paired with a great food menu.

I used to go to this place all the time and always had a great time. One night I was there with my friends and Jessie J had a closed door performance before she hit it big. Went there about two weeks ago and let me tell you this place has gone down hill. First off the bartenders are basically useless. They stand in the corner and just talk amongst themselves. I had to beg to get a drink and when I finished my first drink the bartender never came back I than had to beg for the check. The only thing good about this place is the view nothing more. Nice job ladies you all look great extremely attractive and beautiful but when it comes to the job you guys are awful.

Stone Rose was a very positive experience! We had a lovely time and the food was delicious. My twin and I enjoyed the pasta and deviled eggs. The deviled eggs were very good but a bit pricey. My little brother got the grilled cheese and potato sticks. He absolutely loved them. They also had very lovely mints in the bathroom. We had a fantastic time!

Great location with a great view, great music and great drink menu. Quiet during the week and fun and happening on the weekend. Recently had a party there and had some communication difficulty with our server/event manager but in the end it was all worked out and they waived the minimum.

I am a native New Yorker and will keep to the directness of how we are known to be :) Drinks: Great. They have a nice wine selection. They also make great Martinis. Space: This is a modern, elegant and sleek lounge with a very open and spacious floor layout. The bar is a large and open layout making it perfect for mixing and mingling. The lounge area is massive yet intimate. The venue has large picture windows with a beautiful vista of Central Park. Scene: Singles Scene. Date night. Pickup scene. Crowd: 30-50s Afterwork crowd. Mostly corporate and professionals. Service: Bar staff and servers are courteous and knowledgeable.

I have to admit, I was a bit intimidate at first to grab a cocktail at Stone Rose but walking in, I felt extremely comfortable and was happy to see a good mix of business people and tourists. We bellied up to the bar and were immediately greeted and presented with a menu. The cocktails aren't cheap, think about $15/each and compare to the $20 cocktails at fancy hotels, but the jalapeno margarita was delicious! With terrific views of Central Park and just being in a generally central location, there isn't any reason to not visit as soon as you can.

Luxurious atmosphere, along with luxury priced drinks. You are smack dab in the middle of Manhattan after all. $17 martinis anyone? Nice place to bring a date to show off (if you are into that sort of thing), but expect that Amex bill to be a little higher this month. Still a little too "touristy".
