Play ultimate, educate kids.  Fanya means “do” in Swahili.  This tournament is about the ultimate community doing what we do best (chasing after plastic discs), and in turn sponsoring under-privileged students in Kenya.

Each team at this beach tourney will be assigned a class 7 student who goes to an underprivileged primary school in Kenya called Hamomi.  The winning team’s student will win a scholarship for their first year of secondary school (the more money we raise, the more kids we can support).

The school is founded on improving the economic condition of its students, while developing them to be strong citizens of the quickly changing global community.

When: March 23-24 (10am start each day)
Where: Ocean Beach, San Fransisco
Format: 5 v. 5 beach (3/2)
Cost: $275 per team (additional donations accepted for Hamomi)
Registration: To register your team or get more information, email If you don’t have a team (yet), send us an email and we can set you up with other great people.

Please note, each player must submit a Liability Waiver and Medical Authorization Form if they haven’t already done so for previous Bay Area Disc leagues or events.
