Perfect day for paddling the BWCA. Sunshine, no wind & very few bugs. Gosh I love the Gunflint Trail.

67 degrees on the Gunflint Trail yesterday! Crazy weather for March that feels more like May. Temperature dipped all the way down to 24 this morning, will it reach 70 today? Hope not. This is making me want to be camping in the BWCA but the lakes are all still covered in ice.

A perfect weekend for ice fishing for lake trout, who's hungry for a shore lunch?

There's snow in the forecast for this week. Hope we get a fresh coat on the Gunflint Trail.

2 Canadian Lynx were spotted by my family while snowmobiling yesterday. Unfortunately I wasn't with and neither was my camera. Still an awesome sight to see in the northwoods.
