Thanks to New Hampshire for giving, um, thanks to Netflix. http://www.vox.com/xpress/2014/11/27/7297735/state-thankful-map
Oregonians are especially grateful for yoga while New Yorkers just love their apartments.

Got my Open Hardware 15kW Level 2 EV charging station. Time to crack it open and see what's in there.

NFLX isn't high enough to be driving a Tesla. I'm still sporting a Nissan Leaf, it's been going great for the last 3 years. The stock charger is only for 120V, which for a full charge takes at least 12 hours. The new charger is vastly overpowered for the Leaf's onboard 3.3kW charger, but at least we'll be maxing it out which should cut 4 hours off the charge time.

The goal is to be able to charge some future car or a friends car. The Tesla charger is proprietary and $1,200. Other J1772 chargers are around $600-$1000. This one is just as powerful and cost $399.

+Chet Haase please, tell really slow jokes to give time for everyone to shuffle in. The line is crazy long.

We tried a Paleo Jambalaya recipe yesterday, it worked out really well. (http://www.lifeasaplate.com/2012/02/17/paleo-crockpot-jambalaya-soup/)

Better than sitting in the back of the keynote and then waiting in a long line.

+Dave Briccetti Concerning your question "Welcome, Justin. Can your child code yet?" In general, no. She's really enjoys Robot Turtle and Lego's WeDo visual programming model (borrowed from +Dianne Marsh). I'm most interested in what could be next for her, so I guess I'm going to be a lurker.

Concerning your walk, having my daughter see older kids interested in programming will be a key component in getting her interested in a life-long pursuit. Just watching mom or dad coding away probably isn't very persuasive.

(I can't answer on meetup.com because "Dave Briccetti only wants to receive Greetings from organizers of Meetups they belong to.")

Hi Justin. Thanks for replying here, and sorry meetup rejected your reply on my behalf (I have asked how to change that setting). On the walk, Kevin Nilson (SVJUG and GTUG) brought his wife and two sons, one in 3rd grade and the other in a stroller.

I should learn more about little kids and programming. The youngest I’ve worked with is 2nd grade.
