Oh please oh please oh please....I was about to get into the car to trade in my iphone 5 for an android device.  Google now was the final straw that was going to pull me into the android sphere.  I will wait and see if this is true...  Now if Apple could just get some iOS upgrades out at the rate Google is currently pushing stuff....I would stay firmly in the Apple sphere.

Honestly, if this is what keeps you with Apple, you should probably just stay with Apple.  There's no reason for you to switch, thats not a knock on you, I'm just saying as an Android diehard, if the closed nature of Apple or the slower roll out of updates don't bother you there's no reason for you to switch. They do what they do both well, just differently.

What in war would cause an German pilot to escort a wounded B-17 bomber out of German airspace and to safety?  A Higher Calling is a great book that describes honor among warriors and gives the details behind this story.  Highly recommend this book.

Trying to figure out what Apple is going to push as the "Why we must have an iWatch."  I would argue Apple cannot be beat in convincing people why they need their latest device (vs a massive want).  If the watch can run full iOS, how much will it depend on being paired with an iPhone?  Is the goal to eventually produce an independent device?  How much screen real estate is necessary to effectively run iOS?  Note to Apple my wrist is only so big....  Bottom line, I don't have an issue pulling my iPhone out of my pocket to check something.  If the iWatch is just a companion device (capable of running iOS...yet restricted by screen size) it will need to be a fairly low price to spark my interest....

Absolutely fascinating TED talk.  I have been wondering lately if we are educating our children most effectively in the era of computing, growing global connectivity, and the cloud.  Watch this talk, and then imagine what we could accomplish is Google and/or Apple would put some of their money and resources into expanding, integrating, and supporting this effort....

Really, Google Now would be a feature that could get you to switch to Android? I get how cool the idea of it anticipating your moves and offering info before you request it might be, but seems like it comes at potentially costing battery life and privacy. On iOS it's likely less useful since I would imagine you would need to launch the app first to get it to do it's thing. Might be better for battery life though.

I have learned that writing off Apple early on before actual product details are available usually is a mistake.

Probably my favorite you tube clip. Carlos Whittaker, a Christian worship leader, goes to a park to film a video for one of his songs. He is joined unexpectedly by a homeless man. The result is amazing, a blessing, and while Danny may be homeless he appears to have a wealth of faith....
