Big thank you to Jennifer Tallerico for this awesome review of my book--this labor of love on the psychology of boudoir photography!

Day FIVE: The first shot is what I imagined I'd capture. But when I framed it tighter I liked it better. Granted, not especially elaborate or interesting ingredients. But I do plan to go shopping this weekend and find some really inspiring veggies in an international market nearby!

Day FOUR: I love playing with depth of field. Now, granted, this might not be the most creative of concepts - I'd love to really put some thought into beautiful artsy setups, but in the interest of time, it was the best I could do. In any case, the most shallow image focuses on the flour and eggs. But the story is revealed as we focus on more detail in the setup: storyline being "I imagine that all over the world mommies take great joy in baking sweets for and bringing joy and comfort to their little ones."

Day THREE: I played a bit with angles for both of these setups. I felt limited somewhat in that the dish I put the ice cream in was a bit deep. Nonetheless these were my favorites out of all the images I shot.

1. I'd be interested in shooting artichokes as a subject study - they look so different depending on how you display them.
2. Spices
