Reserved the Station Masters Office (private room) for a birthday dinner last night and absolutely loved the décor and overall feel of the pub. There were about 25 of us and they had arranged a U table so we could all sit together. Our waiter Kamil was fantastic, he took our drinks throughout the night (not one person went thirsty) and they let us play our own music through the sound system. We weren't a quiet party by any stretch but they were so accommodating and the food was really quick too - around 15 minutes after we ordered and everyone commented how tasty it was. Will definitely be back there and couldn't recommend group bookings there enough.

£5.80 for a pint of IPA? Really? Beautiful pub but outrageously expensive even for London.

Defintely not your average station pub!! Characterful and traditionally styled drinking establishment. Have been here for a few works drinks as it's close to our offices. The place is deceptively large, over two floors, and bright with drinks being reasonably priced. I haven't eaten here but the food that has come out of the kitchen looks good. Friendly bar staff, and enough to mean that you don't wait too long before being served.

Almost hidden away at the far end of Kings Cross Station ticket hall, The Parcel Yard is a large pub that occupies what was once, yes, the parcel sorting office for the station. A Grade 1 listed building, it has many original features and there's lots of different rooms and spaces to stop for a quick drink or to stay for a meal. Food is freshly prepared and served from breakfast to evening. Roast pork sandwich with crackling and London pride battered cod are both highly recommended. If living in London, it's a good place to meet up with friends with the added benefit of mainline and tube stations on the doorstep.

Great premises and location. Let down by poor quality lagers. Do not let the accountants choose which drinks to overcharge your customers for.

Hidden gem. It's a cute little pub in the middle of Kings Cross Station. When you go inside it feels really homely, there's lots of space and even a little indoor bit with a tree I think. You can either just have a few drinks or sit down for lunch/dinner in the dining room. I came here for a lunch meeting and the food was quite good. Nothing amazing but might have been because I only ordered eggs benedict. Still loved the atmosphere.

Very dependable pub right in the middle of Kings Cross station. The renovation and decor make the place stand out and it has a good selection of beers (including my new favourite Kona 'Big Wave'). Food is good, but best going for that at quieter times when it's less busy and the staff have more time to serve.

Pretty roomy, rustic decor, packed to the rafters with commuters sinking a couple of crafty ones before jumping on their train to Hertfordshire. Three drinks will cost you the best part of £20. Let down by untrained catering staff. There was one who was clearly trained in service ferrying plates from the pass, apologizing for the lack of cutlery and attention from her colleagues. Sneering college kids made up the bulk of the workforce. Can't be paying them much, and appear to have trained them less. Food on the plate was good - fish and chips, but ketchup arrived in a de-Heinzed bottle full of vinegary catering shit which for the price is a mean, pointless and disproportionately negative aspect of the experience. Food also gave me a tummy bug. The blame for all of this except the bug can be pinned on the management,.
