Wow, really yummy seafood here. The roasted garlic crab was amazing, very flavorful and nice and hot! Our party ordered various items from a seafood variety plate to sliders, curry shrimp, calamari, oysters, crab, and fish. Everything got rave reviews. The pasta dishes were the good too, but definitely not at the same level as the rest of the food. One star off due to the service being extremely slow. The restaurant was very busy but so are a lot of restaurants around the area and they manage to get people in and out in a timely manner. We were there for about 2 hours and didn't even order dessert. Well worth the wait though.

Very nice decore inside.. bread was nice and fresh.... food was cooked well... other than being a bit snooty in there I'd say it's good... but once again I heard tons of hype on this place and it was good but is not the good I was hoping for.. Was it good?? Yes. Would I go again? Probally not

First, go to the visitor's center also on the upper level and get a 15% off coupon for this place. Then, make a reservation on OpenTable so you get seated near the window. This is a nice little spot with a beautiful view of the Bay. The food quality is decent but nothing amazing and the mixed drinks are a little diluted. I would know as I get tipsy easily since I hardly drink which wasn't the case after a mojito here. I had a 1/2 crab (eh, ok, but way overpriced due to supply/demand) which was plenty with a beat salad (very good) and shared a bowl of the Clam Chowder (delicious) with my boyfriend who has some fish in a wasabi sauce that didn't taste that excellent. So this isn't a cheap place, but it's not a bad restaurant to check out and the service is very good. 3 stars for food. 2.5 stars for mixed drinks 4 stars for service 4 stars for atmosphere

Great location at Pier 39. The atmosphere is fantastic with great view of the ocean and Alcatraz, we even saw some sea lions. Prices are above average. Service is good. We ordered the clam chowder; quite tasty. As a main entrée we ordered the shellfish platter but it turned out to be a cold platter (Mr Bean anyone?). The menu didn't mention this fact, so we ended up returning it. The good thing is that they didn't charge us for it.

Recommendation from our concierge. Food was mediocre. I had the ahi tuna and my wife the mixed grill. The tuna was ok. The swordfish and salmon on the mixed grill was delicious. The garlic mashed potatoes lacked garlic and really any flavor for that matter. The service was the bigger let down. Inattentive and our entrees came out in 10 minutes and before our appetizer which the waiter apparently forgot. The result was our entrees sitting under a heat lamp (my assumption) for maybe 15-20 minutes. Everything was just so so. The location is nice and the views would have been nice during the day, we were there at night. Be sure to walk down the pier a bit to see the sea lions. I probably wouldn't recommend this one though for a meal.

I took my visiting family here because I knew they would enjoy the view and seafood. I am not a fan of fried food so I had a lobster pasta which was tasty, but as you would expect. Overall I thought the restaurant is too big and touristy to enjoy a nice meal - the ambiance, service and food are a little lacking.

I typically don't eat along Pier 39 and Fisherman's Wharf as it gets to be too touristy and crowded. The food isn't always the best here, but there are a few exceptions. Fog Harbor is one of them. The view from the window seat is great and romantic in the evening. I ordered the shellfish platter to share and it was pretty big with lots of crab, mussels, clams, shrimp, etc. The price actually wasn't too bad given that the location has tourists galore. Would come back some time if the occasion calls for it.
