BEST PHO IN NOLA!!!!!! Excellent customer service, the staff is super friendly and welcoming. I have tried different plates and everything is DELICIOUS. If you are new to vietnamese food and want to try it definitely go see them for a great experience.

Really good pho! I got the combination pho and it tasted better than what my mother makes at home. The waitress was also very pleasant. Would highly recommend.

This relatively new Vietnamese restaurant on Magazine St. is a treat. The decor is sleek and minimal, with an outside seating area out back should the weather permit. The pho is great, and the prices are even better. You can easily get a good meal for under $15. Last time I checked, it was BYOB.

What a nice surprise! We were only in new orleans for the weekend and I was in the mood for Vietnamese food close to the french quarters. This place is closer to rhe garden district but well worth the time. Limited menu to some apps, spring rolls, banh mi, and pho, but there's enough ingredients to add variety to the meal. Went with my sister in laws, their first time having vietnamese and they were sceptical, but were won over easily. Definitely need to check this place out.

An amazing addition to Magazine street, providing great food and fantastic service for a quality price. In all seriousness I go three times a week with friends. It never gets old. Cheap, delicious, and fast. MMMMMMMMM MMMMMMMMMMMM GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD

Magasin offers great food, at very reasonable prices. The interior dining area seemed a bit small. The tables were all placed very close to each other to maximize space. While not necessarily a bad thing, this makes having conversations difficult. I am always either too distracted by the conversations next to me, or by the other diners staring at me while I talk. There are several tables outside and a patio area in the rear of the restaurant. Since it was a beautiful day, we chose to sit outside. The patio is unique. It is completely open to the street with the side and rear walls made of old cinder blocks. It appeared that this was once some sort of building that had been converted into a patio. There is only a pergola for a roof, so if it is raining, or miserably hot, I would recommend staying inside. My friend recommended any item with grilled pork. We chose pork spring rolls to start, and for an entree I had the grilled pork bahn mi. The spring rolls were very good. The smoky flavor of the pork combined very well with the crunch of the vegetables. The addition of the peanut sauce made this one of the best versions of spring rolls I have ever had. The bahn mi was equally good. I was a little leery of a po-boy type sandwich with so many vegetables, but it was incredible. The baguette was perfectly crispy, yet soft and was very similar to traditional po-boy bread. I really enjoyed this sandwich. While small, for $4.50 it can't be beat. Another thing that I really liked was that the pork was grilled on a gas grill outside on the patio. The smells of cooking meat made the experience even better. My only complaint would be the speed of service. Our server tried, but was a bit slow in refilling drinks, and bringing change at the end of the meal. I really enjoyed Magasin. While not in the area I normally frequent, I have a feeling I will be making special trips just to eat their incredible food.
