Decided to buy a Specialized Fatboy SE from them and but down 50%. I was told it would take around two weeks for delivery of said bike. Being curious I called Specialized and they gave me the reason for the delay.. Going on three weeks I called the shop and asked for an ETA of my bike to which I got the reply as soon as we get it you get it. Calling Specialized again was told my bike was in stock and should get it shortly. Two days later I got the call. They took my money and hustled me out the door without as much as checking my saddle height for proper extension to the pedal. I took the bike out yesterday and my saddle is to low and I am having it adjusted. Its not the fact I spent $1600 but its the lack of customer service I received that leaves me perplexed. Not only did said salesperson try to up sell me to a $2100 bike when I had originally walked in look for a Specialized Hardrock which retail for about $500 but knowing I had fallen in love with the bike and came back to buy it. I had stated I loved the bike and specifically it was in my fav color which is cobalt blue. Don't try to up sell be a black bike at $2100. No follow thru or concrete explanation as to why it would take two weeks for the bike to get there. Again I will be going to another bike shop to have my saddle adjusted. I will never spend any money at their establishment ever again !!!

Response from the owner - 2 months ago
Hi Rob, my name is Jared Fisher, and I am the owner of this company. I want to apologize if for any way we did not come through with the proper service. As with all my customers if they are not satisfied I would surely refund all their money. That goes for you too if you were not satisfied we will refund your money. I am sorry there was a delay in your bike being delivered on time, but we have no control over that. Again we are very sorry for any negative experience you had at our establishment. As far as the seat height goes, they are adjustable with a quick release lever. Often times our customers adjust their seat Heights three or four times in a single ride. This maybe the reason why our sales person did not adjust your seat.

I have gone in there several times now, each time hoping my experience will be better than the last. I have yet to get someone to help me with out lighting my hair on fire. The employee by the door was busy talking on the phone, in a manner that did not seem work related, one of the mechanics was busy working on a bike, I understand his focus. Sales person, I assume was helping an older gentleman, that looked to be quite wealthy. the rest of the crew was in the back huddled together and seemed to do be doing their best not to engage me. I realize I could have commanded some attention by simply butting in to the group and asking for help, but like I said before I've been in several time and really hoped my experience would be better. The shop looks to have a great selection of not only bikes and clothing, but parts as well. I am in the market for a new bike, and will probably be spending a lot on one given bike prices today. I would love to support one of my local bike shops, all I ask in return is that they support me.

Tried 6 times to rent a bike and they could not do it, the web site was a big circle and I spent 3 hours between phone calls and the web site which would not work, I CALLED AND ASKED IF THEY WOULD TAKE A RESERVATION OVER THE PHONE AND THEY SAID NO? So I WILL HAVE TO GO TO ANOTHER SHOP!

I had a bad experience at McGhie's and stopped by here on accident, and they fixed me all up for free and have be multiple pointers on taking care of my brakes. McGhie's is a ripoff with several employees that seem to have no idea what they're doing, Las Vegas Cyclery on the other hand had people who love what they do and aim to please the customer. They also have a lot of local events.

Adam directed us toward an excellent ride. He knows the area really well and had lots of local info. The rest of the staff seemed really friendly and helpful as well. The shop is beautiful and seems well organized. You can tell these guys work hard and try to do things right.

Very helpful and knowledgeable staff.. If you ride locally it's not uncommon to run into the owner on the trail. They ride what they sell!

I travel a lot, and one of my favorite parts of travlling is to hit up local bike shops... lemme say this is THE coolest facility.. in addition they had a shower, I had a cup of coffee, and MOST importantlg, I had needed a repair on a front derailleur that I couldnt fix, which rarely happens, and the mechanic dedicated his time to really solve the problem even though its not going to make a million bucks.. this is the best of an alley way garage shop feel and a retail amenity rich experience... glad I came
