Women are tough. Who wouldn't agree that the heroines we meet, are tougher, fighting for the future of their children with little to no resources. Support their fight. Visit www.thechildrenoflavie.org

NYU Recognizes "Extraordinary" Work Done by
The Children of Lavié, Its Donors And Its Board.
Just now, NYU has opened up the remote, little known village of Lavié and its children to its prestigious academic community in New York and around the world, by honoring Kofi Amouzou ('99), co-founder, the Board, and the Donors of The Children of Lavié with the Bart Lawson Alumni Award for Humanitarianism. This NYU award, of which The Children of Lavié is the only recipient this year, recognizes the extraordinary contributions of the organization and its commitment to the education of others, anywhere in the world, through participation in community service and the alleviation of human suffering. Read the full story at www.thechildrenoflavie.org/latest-news/ and stay tuned for more images from the award ceremony!

smile emoticon On October 7, 2015, our Field Liaison, Mes Abotsi, made a surprise visit right at the closing of the morning assembly at Lavie Atrtsa School. Check out the adorable photo below. Remember your donations help. Visit us at thechildrenoflavie.org
