We have been coming to Twohey's once or twice a month for a year for breakfast. Probably tried 20 different items from the menu and all have been very good. We especially like the lobster roll, garlic fries, NY steak w salad, and fish & chips. Good service, management. Guess you'd have to be to be good to be in business for 70 years.

Twohey's is your neighborhood diner restaurant that serves everything from all-day breakfast, sandwiches, burgers, steak, soups, salads, and classic shakes, sodas, and malt drinks. I have driven past this restaurant more times than I can remember without giving even a second glance at what this restaurant was. We came here one late night with a huge crowd but the kitchen was quick and waiting staff was friendly and easy going, so it really made for a great meal. We ordered the pastrami sandwich (thin sliced, juicy, pastrami on sourdough bread, delicious!), chicken rice soup (not too creamy or overly rich, I wish they serve this at buffets, its just that good), a side of sweet potato fries (not oily, perfect fried), and a frozen orange drink (which reminds me of a orange creamsicle dessert). There is a parking lot with not too many spaces and its shared by In-N-Out, but there is always street parking. Its a great alternative to all the Asian food in this area.

I remember when you could order the short rib plate during the week and you felt you were getting the best "homemade" meal in the house!
