I am in LOVE with the baked beans here. I AM A LOVER OF BEANS and these beans are made beyond right. I enjoy the fact that they set up the system that you will always have a seat by the time you finish ordering your food and the staff assists you in finding a seat / holding your food to your table. The staff are friendly and understanding when you have questions about their menu. I will definitely come back to try the burnt ends on the menu! Pulled pork for me wasn't that exciting. Brisket was okay, but there wasn't anything special with it either. Next time... baked beans, burnt ends and fries please! Atmosphere is laid-back and great place to chillax!

I only recently discovered Mighty Quinn's, but it is a gem of an establishment that provides easily accessible BBQ at a decent price. I love that it is quick and easy to get delicious BBQ here, and their sides are great too! I love the burnt end baked beans and the vinegar coleslaw. Also, they salt the meat to bring out the flavor before they serve it to you. If you don't want to go through the hassle of sitting down and ordering at a restaurant, head to Mighty Quinn's for some killer BBQ.

The food is great, at least what I had. I tried the pulled pork sandwich and a Allagash white ale. Pork was tender as expected. I forgot what side I had, I guess that should speak for it. The white ale was fine. There is always a line, which is expected in a good place like this. It can get messy so don't wear something you'll regret ruining. I took one star off because I don't feel that the food alone justified the price, there are some food vans that charge less, but sell food that's as tender and flavorful. They should save the paper/plastic for take-out, picnic experience? then charge a picnic price. However, I still would visit again.

I don't know how this place gets this many stars. A coworker was raving about this place, FYI who has never been to fette sau. The place is pretty basic in terms of decor, food looked good. I got ribs and brisket and both were a little below room temperature, not terrible if the flavor is there. Flavor is not there. Mediocre barbecue. Famous Daves, a big chain, is better than this place. If you actually want life changing barbecue, go to Fette Sau. It's worth the wait and it's a better experience.

I'm very doubtful that this is the best BBQ that all of New York has to offer. At least, I am hoping that there exists a better place. I came here on hump day after an awesome happy hour. At first, I was afraid we'd have no seating since the tables were almost all filled up, with several parties ahead of me on the food line. The 'nooBs' that we are tried to grab tables before ordering, which is a big no-no. I ordered the brisket with a side of the sweet potato casserole. The sweet potato casserole was just as its namesake implies. But it is not anything particularly special, and speaking as a person who isn't a fan of overly sweet items, I didn't care for it much. In fact, I didn't finish it. The brisket was dry, and did not fall apart in the way that I love. It was a bit tough to chew and not seasoned; I prefer my sauce to be a bonus, and not a requirement. The BBQ sauce can be found on the tables/ledges. If you're thinking that the sauce somehow saved my dish, you'd be thinking wrong. It was not the perfect blend of sweet and tangy, but rather an overly sweet and tangy gone wrong type of situation. I did not care for it, and yet I needed to drown my meat because of the sheer dryness of the brisket. My friends seem to like the place, one got the same dishes as I did, and the other got the sausages. However, I didn't have the heart to affect their obvious enjoyment.

I had the brisket & pulled pork sandwiches, as well as the broccoli salad & the sweet potato casserole. My meal was finished off with a bottle of pale ale. First and foremost, I have never eaten brisket before, & I'm SO glad that I had my first taste here. It was perfectly seasoned and tender and tasted like heaven! The pulled pork was great too; they pulled it right in front of me! But that was not the best part AT ALL. The sweet potato casserole was AMAZING! It was made with maple syrup and walnuts. I literally have not had anything like it before and I immediately looked up the recipe online to make it myself. The place itself is very rustic: wooden tables and tin trays, so great for hanging out with a friend, but not exactly somewhere you'd go to have a romantic meal. The only negative thing I have to say was that the broccoli salad was SUPER cold. Like it tasted as if they took it right out of the freezer & I was not able to eat it. Everything else was ON POINT! I would recommend this to anyone and I will come back to taste their ribs and burnt ends!

This is our favorite Manhattan barbecue place--friendly, great food, casual setting. Wish the line moved a bit faster some nights, but aside from that, I love it and come back often. The pulled pork is super good, and I love the broccoli-almond-cranberry salad on the side.

Crack! The brisket is so damn good. Just put it in your mouth, and talk about foodgasm. The portion is very generous and is topped with a dash of salt. The bbq sauce is on the table and is welcomed on my brisket any day. YUMMM. Tried the Burnt End Baked Beans - HOLY CRAP! I was opposed to it a first but I trusted my friend's awesome judgement and had a bite. It was love at first taste...? =) Also tried the Buttermilk Broccoli Salad which was delish. Fresh and crisp broccoli. My favorite side was the baked beans - which i'm so glad i tried.
