Buried my grandmother this morning at the Arlington cemetery in Kearny, Nj. It was great seeing family and people that were around when my brother and I were born 35 years ago. Cousins and second cousins, ants & uncles and friends of the family. I wish it could have been under different circumstances and I wish my brother and sister could have been there.

So this was my screen on the way to work today. Had a networking video I was listening to on the left and Google maps on the right during a stand still in traffic due to construction. Do that on your iPhone :) Don't worry, I'm sure Apple will implement this feature in 2017 and act like it's something new and fresh. Just messing. I love you Apple guys ;-)

My sister in-law and new husband used their services. I found them to be a little less than par and certainly less than advertised. When I arrived with my 7 month old son I was told that they would have a high chair reserved for us but they forgot to set one aside and were unable to find one for me. I had to bring my stroller in so my son had somewhere to sit when not being held by someone else. Furthermore, we were not served what was supposed to be on the menu and what was paid for, not even close. Several items were not served that should have been. In addition, they forgot to set a table up for the bride & groom and quickly "scraped" one together for them forgetting to use the special linen purchased by my mother in-law just for that occasion. The meal opened up with a salad that appeared to have been sitting a while. The salad was saturated and soggy with the house dressing. The soup and cake was about the only thing I enjoyed (butternut squash and chocolate cake w/ raspberry drizzle) I can't recall if they made the cake or not. Then came some chicken which was bland and tasteless followed by some roast beef which when one bit into it a plethora of "soggy" came gushing out. Not sure what was going on, maybe we caught them on a bad night. When following up with them to inquire as to why such poor service and why several items on the menu where not served, by my mother and father in-law who payed for their services, they (the manager) were rude and unprofessional about it. They certainly failed to uphold the customer on this one. Believe me, I'm not just a disgruntled person trying to bash them. I have better things to do than search for a company online and leave them a poor review, unless they earned it. I really felt bad for the bride & groom.

I tried to not let the other reviews sway my decision on this place. However, their assessment is pretty accurate. While the decor was nice and the service was good, the food was not good at all and extremely bland. The overall experience was a very poor and unsatisfactory one. I thought that the end of the night would be redeemed when I ordered the New York style cheesecake. However, to my surprise, that was not even close to tasting like cheese cake. There was no taste to any of their food whether it was the entree or the desert. I ordered the new York strip steak and nearly every piece I ate was fat. If it wasn't for the melted cheese and sweet sautéed onions covering it i don't know what it would have done. The only other thing that could have made this worse was to receive food poisoning from the evening's meal. Oh wait, I did. Half way back to my home I had to pull over and use a porta potty on the side of the road because my stomach was so upset. Not recommending this place at all. I also think they are aware of it as they were giving everyone coupons to return to the restaurant for a future meal. And this was just for me. They didn't even have the type of pasta noodles my wife wanted. And while we were there we her to other tables complain about the food.

Horrible horrible service. The people there were rude and didn't want to help me. When I walked in, three employees were viewing on the internet what sounded like someone having sex and laughing about it, while myself and two other customers waited in the lobby behind the glass. Ill never step foot in that place again.

I don't usually go out of my way to leave a review online. However, this was one of the poorest experiences I've ever had on a golf course and will neither revisit or recommend the place to anyone. The course was/is not ready or presentable for the public in my opinion as of today. They charged the full price of $30 with only nine holes up and running. Nearly all the holes were in horrible condition. The greens were being aired out and made it impossible to putt. In addition, there were maintenance crews on the green of one hole cutting the grass and blowing it away while we were trying to hit on. In there defense they warned me when I called and scheduled the tee time that they were closed for 3 years and just re-opened this year. However, it was extremely unacceptable for a course to be in this condition. The blow might have been lessened if they charged about half the price until the course was up and running with all 18 holes.
