James and I are working hard on the first stable, major version, of PhileCMS.

The final version 1.0.0 has some *breaking changes*:

### the plugins

The plugin structure has changed.

Each plugin lives in a vendor/package folder. Such as plugins/phile/myCoolPlugin/ (where phile is the vendor folder and myCoolPlugin is the package folder). Each plugin has an own namespace like Phile\Plugin\Phile\MyCoolPlugin\...

Currently, we refactor all core plugins to the new structure. Each plugin under https://github.com/PhileCMS is tagged with a release 0.9 which works well with the current version of PhileCMS.

The next version of the plugins will be the version 1.0.0 like the core and will only work with core version 1.0.0.

For developers: here is a documentation about the new plugin structure: https://github.com/PhileCMS/Phile/wiki/%5BDEVELOPER%5D-Plugins

### interfaces moved

All interfaces moved to a new location: Phile\Gateway and Phile\ServiceLocator.

### new API documentation

We are proud to announce that the core is complete documented and we could generate an API documentation from the code. You find the new API documentation here: http://philecms.com/api/

You can test the current state of PhileCMS 1.0.0 by cloning the release branch: https://github.com/PhileCMS/Phile/tree/release/1.0.0

We have not defined a release date for the version 1.0.0, but we think the release is ready in one or two weeks.

If you are a plugin developer please update your plugins to match the structure of the 1.0.0 core and tag your old plugins as 0.9.3.
