I tried to cancel a reservation 2 weeks before my stay via email as I am going to stay with friends in a suite instead. The directions indicated I would receive a confirmation email. It never came and I did not want a room charge on my charge card that I did not use. I called at 12:34 a.m. to try to verify the cancellation. I was told their system shuts down from 12:30 - 7:00 am. They couldn't double check to see if my emailed cancellation went through and was told to call back after 7:00 am. I called back 4 times after 7:00 am and was not able to get through to reservations. What kind of customer service is this? The desk could not even check to see if the reservation cancelled. The system had me leave a message I do not trust they will call back given my previous experience with their current system. I do not want to have a charge on my credit card for a reservation that I tried several times to cancel well before their 4 days prior policy to the stay. Beware of booking here if you might need to change anything. It is very difficult and not user friendly. They need to change their system.

The grounds are very nice. They are certainly 5 star. The food is good. The service was ok/marginal.The accomodations are 31/2 star. Very clean just dated. The golf courses were in poor shape. Nice tracks but like every resort that is trying to max profits without putting the needed fertilizer and water, they depend on overseeding with rye grass in the winter. When it burns off in April/May the course looks like it has cancer. The fairways were very poor. The greens were average to sad. So if you are coming for golf ???? On top of that they ran my credit card for an additional $525 bucks when they said they would "hold" $ 200. In other words they lied and they stole money that wasn't theirs. Will I get it back ? Yes I'm sure I will in a few days, but why is a major golf resort saying we will hold $200 but take $525 without notifying their guest ? My advise is there are plenty of nice golf resorts here in the south. Unless Copperhead is open for play, consider other locations. At least from April through December.

Best Golf Resort Experience I have ever had. Our group of 150 golfers make this an annual outing. The leadership and management of Salamander courses is second to none. They pay attention to the smallest detail to rate in the high band of excellence for total satisfaction - Golf, lodging, leisure, dining - professional in every sense.

I played at Innisbrook Resort for the Golfweek Junior Tour Event at the South Course, and I must say, the resort is in the top ten golf resorts in the entire United States. The practice facilities are in immaculate condition, the greens are some of the nicest I have ever played, and the Osprey Clubhouse was beautiful. The food in the clubhouse was delicious, and the staff was great. The hotel room was very clean and I loved staying in it. I wish I could have gotten the chance to play the Copperhead Course! That would've made my day! Go to Innisbrook if you get the chance!

First time visitor and there for The Henderson Family Reunion. from check-in to checkout, staff and service was wonderful. The facilities were well kept, clean and just right for our events ( banquet, breakfast and worship service). Golf course experience was good as well. Played two of the four courses, South and Copperhead. Both were challenging....

I recently stayed at this resort with two friends of mine for a quick golf trip. Our first impression of the place was quite a let down only due to the gentlemen we spoke to at the front desk. Just very difficult to work with. We arrived around 11:00am and could not get our second room and was told it should be only a few hours and we would be called when it was ready. We had a tee time of 2:00pm and once golf was over we still didn't receive a call that our room was ready. Needless to say we expressed our displeasure with the front desk manager I believe her name was Landra. I expected to get more of the same but to my surprise she was quite pleasant to deal with and she certainly went the extra mile to help us out. She needed some time to get things in order but she hit a home run and changed our perspective of the resort. If not for her we would not consider returning. She was calm and cool thru the whole process and we finally got our rooms around 8:00pm. If not for our first impression we would have given the resort a five star rating.

Horribly experience. Everything was too pricey. The rooms were not at all worth the money. The TV remotes almost never worked. The lake was trashed. The golf courses cost $200 for one player. The tennis courts cost $25 per hour. Everyone tried to rip us of our money. No good beach nearby. I would suggest going to Hilton or Sheraton near Clearwater beach. It is much more beautiful, closer to the beach, and enjoyable for the same, or less, money.
