Stayed at the Hyatt while attending a game in Pheonix. Beautiful hotel and fantastic service. The rooms are pretty standard, not anything special. But they're comfortable and clean. The bathroom was top notch.

We always stay at the Hyatt Regency when we have events in downtown Phoenix. They treat us like family. Comicon is my favorite time of year and the Hyatt totally gets into it by playing music from Star Wars and other geek fandoms. The staff dresses up and they host many events. The rooms are nice and the hotel is always clean. I love the Hyatt! I recommend if you are coming to the Phoenix area to book with this hotel.

Very clean. Good service. Wifi is slow, but good enough to check email. Compass room was neat. Over priced food in my opinion. Just as good on the street level. The whole staff was exceedingly polite.

Great place for a meeting function. Big rooms, good food, nice location. Side note...I had a dirty coffee mug AND my colleague and I both had dirty water glasses! Worst part was that the wait staff was not apologetic but made me feel like I was being picky for wanting a clean one.

Phoenix Comicon is a yearly event I immensely enjoy attending. It's a 4 day long gathering of different nerdy fandoms I love escaping into for a weekend. After doing so for 6 years and staying at 4 different hotel chains, the Hyatt has definitively become my hotel of choice in the Downtown Phoenix area. I've now lodged with them for 4 consecutive years and I have only gratitude and applause for my experience. They offer fantastic ammeneties from tooth brushes to soft night slippers all included In your stay. The staff is very courteous, knowledgabe and eager to help. It's a near resort experience every time I am their guest. They also are very good about getting into the spirit of the event they are hosting for. The lobby and elevators are decorated with decals of super heroes, there is themed music playing, but by far, where the Hyatt goes above and beyond is by hosting a cornucopia of events and activities right inside their walls. From an entire floor dedicated for a menagerie of table top games, to rooms where you can join a starship crew with giant floor to ceiling displays, the Hyatt provides full immersion. From the moment you step out of your room you are instantly in the middle of the action, and when the event closes at the convention center you can rest assured that the Hyatt is ready to receive you with more fun such as the after hours Nerd Ball and is the shortest walk from any other hotel in the area. There is no doubt in my mind that this I will forever remain loyal to the Hyatt regency hotel for my weekend event escapes.

Good hotel. Handled our convention guests well and very nice rooms. Did not use meeting space but nice bar in the lobby.

Nice location right downtown near stadiums and shops. Parking in garage across the street is relatively cheap. They upgraded our room to a better room and higher floor for only an extra $7 a night. The room itself was clean and large. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was clean with good water pressure.

Uncomfortable room. Asked for a couple of extra pillows before we went out for the night. 3 hours later, pillows were nowhere to be found. Called again but obviously the pillows are made out of gold and very rare. Had to sleep on a single pillow, adding to lack of comfort. To add insult to the injury, they expect you to pay for your own parking in the next door parking lot instead of validating and on their website this is not a fact that strikes you. And parking is not cheap. And if you want multiple in-and-out privileges, that is extra. Stay away. Go to motel 6 for the same comfort. At least it has free parking.
