This podcast predates the bloodshed last week in France and Lebanon. However, I listened to it today for the first time. I learned a great deal - and the most noteworthy fact comes from an American researcher who conducted a comprehensive study of the demographics of suicide bombers. Remarkably, the common denominator is NOT religion. (Let that sink in for a second.)
It's exposure to an occupied state. I think this is essential knowledge for our policymakers, and general population as anti-Muslim sentiment and legislation is not going to move us forward as a culture, as a nation.
And apart from current events, this is already a fantastically interesting podcast.
