A Case of #Posterior #Mediastinal Cystic #Schwannoma Showing #Immunohistochemical Staining for MMP-2 of the Cyst Wall.

Schwannomas, which arise from peripheral nerve sheaths, are the most common neurogenic tumors of the thorax. Neurogenic tumors of the mediastinum represent 20% of all mediastinal tumors, and the majority of these mediastinal tumors of nerve origin in adults tend to be schwannomas (51%), neurofibromas (17%), and ganglioneuromas (21%). Most schwannomas are benign tumors of schwann cell origin that grow gradually, and they are discovered accidentally during a medical checkup or evaluation for other diseases. Internal regressive changes, such as fatty degeneration, hemorrhage.

#Otolaryngology, #Low-Grade; #Cribriform; #Cystadenoarcinoma; Parotid

LGCCC is a rare, non-invasive, slow-growing and cystic salivary gland adenocarcinoma with female preponderance. Microscopically, LGCCC is unencapsulated with proliferating, small ductal cells lining the cysts. Immunohistochemistry usually reveals S-100 immunoreactivity with detection of myoepithelial markers such as SMA and p63. The differential diagnoses include high-grade salivary duct carcinoma, mammary analogue secretory carcinoma, papillary cystic variant of acinic cell carcinoma and conventional cystadenocarcinoma. Complete surgical excision is the treatment of choice.

#Hematology, #Mantle Cell #Lymphom; Non-Hodgkin's Lymphom; #Spontaneous; Spleen

Spontaneous rupture of the spleen without a traumatic mechanism is infrequent. It is associated with neoplastic processes (by infiltration) or certain infectious processes. Among neoplastic processes, malignant hematological disorders are the most frequent, with acute leukemia followed by non-Hodgkin's lymphomas (NHL). The presentation of mantle cell lymphoma, variant of B-cell NHL, has been described as spontaneous splenic rupture infrequently in the literature.

#Disinfection of #Effluents with #Renewable Energy.

Wastewater treatment is a process that converts wastewater from its unusable state into an effluent that can be either returned to the water cycle with minimal environmental issues or reused for another purpose. The wastewater treatment processes are high energy consumption. The power consumption of wastewater treatment plants is between 20 and 45 kWh/ (PE*a) [PE = Population Equivalent or unit per capita loading]. Power consumption depends not only on a plant's size, but also on its design.
